Estate Management

Cadder Housing Association recognises that quality housing is coupled with the need to live in an area that residents can be proud of, and where they can live and enjoy their homes in a decent, safe, tidy and secure environment.

Good Estate Management would mean:

  • little or no fly tipping
  • little or no graffiti
  • tidy gardens and back courts
  • clean and safe communal areas (bin stores, closes)
  • little or no vandalism
  • well maintained open spaces
  • repairs to common areas carried out timeously
  • minimum dog fouling

Good Estate Management involves:

  • enforcing tenancy and title conditions
  • management of common areas
  • maintenance of the physical environment
  • regular inspections of common areas
  • residents caring about the area they live in
  • regular inspections of common areas

Good Estate Management requires the following groups to work together:

  • Cadder HA, as the local landlord and factor
  • Residents of Cadder
