Cadder Housing Association recognises that quality housing is coupled with the need to live in an area that residents can be proud of, and where they can live and enjoy their homes in a decent, safe, tidy and secure environment.
Cadder Housing Association wants all our residents to be proud of where they live and to enjoy living in a clean and tidy environment. More importantly we want to be sure that the area is safe and free of hazards.
To this end, we carry out regular inspections of buildings and estates to check that common parts are being kept in good repair and that residents are keeping their areas neat and tidy. We will carry out more frequent inspections where an area is experiencing particular problems.
The biggest problems we experience are people not disposing of household refuse correctly and dog fouling.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that your household rubbish is put in the appropriate bins.
If you own a dog it is your responsibility to clean up after it. It is an offence if you fail to do so and you could receive a Fixed Penalty Notice. If you become aware of a dog owner failing to clean up after their dog you can contact the Association or Clean Glasgow on 0800 027 7027 to report it. Where proven, the Association will also take action against any tenancy if the owner fails to clean up after their dog.
